A variant of a White-lipped snail, (Cepaea hortensis) atop a Moon Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare). This variant didn’t have a lot of colour and contained no markings. Its shell was so thin it was possible to see the innards moving.
Common to western and central Europe. This snail is an air-breathing mollusc.Photo & Caption by: jasonpb
